I never fully understood the love for fancy purses at first. To me, I was fine with using a school backpack or grocery store bag to haul my belongings around in. This was until high school. I started seeing all the girls carry their binders in seamless leather totes and this “strange” brown bag with the letters ”LV” all over it. This is where a beautiful love hate relationship with crossbody accessories developed.

Let’s be real though - there are just so many options. Crossbody, totes, satchels, clutches, messengers - I want it all. Can you blame me?

But let’s be realistic here.

In my eyes, I’ve never gravitated towards the designer bags. As much as I’d love to rock a Birkin bag to brunch, your girl does not have that kind of cash to drop. So I chose an audible. Instead of splurging on one really nice designer bag, why don’t I just buy on a budget? To me, I’d much rather have a bunch of different options to style myself with. My go-to night out crossbody. Zara never fails to disappoint with quality at a great price. This maxi purse is soft to the touch with crisp gold finishing. It has lasted me throughout my college endeavors and still looks brand new despite having multiple vodka sours spilled on it. A bit on the smaller side, but a great option to hold your lipstick and Listerine strips.
